    Post points

Just curious about how these post points work. There seems to be random amounts for different messages

    Re: Post points

Not entirely sure, however i think they u get 5 points per reply and you also gain points when other members reply to your topic.

    Re: Post points

Post Points are currently there for a bit of friendlycompetition on the forums Wink [;)]

We will not give the game away as that takes all of the fun out of it but we can reveal that there is a calculation behind the points system which is based on a number of factors and user actions. For instance you will notice points being rewarded for starting a thread, replying to a post or rating a thread to name a few.

    Good luck!

    Re: Post points

Depends what you mean by looked at ? Points are allocated automatically based on a set criteria so if you mean are they adjusted manually then the answer is no as that would be an impossible task as the community grows.

    Re: Post points

In order to clear up any confusion - your post points are not directly related to your forum ranking so you won't necessarily increase your forum ranking in the same way that your points increase.

As Rahul has quite rightly said - it is the quality of posts that should the focus.

    Re: Post points

I do agree it is about the posts... So the fact that the hand you have displayed is relative to the posts then I think mr admin should revert back to the pair he deserves!!!!!
